The 16th Yalta European Strategy (YES) Annual Meeting “Happiness Now. New Approaches for a World in Crisis” had been held on September 12-14, 2019 in Kyiv. Over 400 leading politicians, diplomats, businessmen, civil activists and experts from 26 countries took part in the conference organized by Yalta European Strategy in partnership with the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.
Ambitious world-leading decision-makers, opinion-leaders, business people , opinion leaders, young leaders and volunteers spent time with benefit, discussing changes in Ukraine and the world, as well as ways of further development and the near future of Ukraine. All the attention of national and foreign media was riveted to the meeting, a high level of concentration of honored guests, dozens of interviews and live broadcasts from the scene. Of particular interest were the invited secret-guests – Hollywood actresses Mila Kunis and Robin Wright, as well as actor and film director Ashton Kutcher.
La Famiglia Catering was lucky to become part of a large-scale event. The conference lasted three days and provided a comprehensive service for all guests including coffee breaks between sessions, festive lunch with individual serving, buffet table and a final festive dinner with individual serving.
At the location were 3 fully functioned zones:
1 – open space for tea and coffee breaks with desserts,
2 – open terrace
3 – hall for special events.
The type of the event and the guests-status determined the style – exquisitely official. The executive chef La Famiglia Catering, Bogdan Reminsky, developed a special menu for each day of the event. We paid special attention to vegetarian and vegan dishes.
The grandiose event required thorough preliminary preparation, where every detail matters, strict clear rules and time limits. Over a hundred La Famiglia Catering professionals worked at the location, where everyone carried out his mission. Catering is an inconspicuous but very important service that requires speed, accuracy and high quality throughout. All this tempers and incredibly motivates each of us to new achievements. Such cool events set the bar for work and professional level. But at the same time it inspire to do more and become better every day.
The 16th YES Conference was held under the motto – “Happiness Now.” The whole La Famiglia Catering team confirmed this optimistic statement not with words but with deeds.
