In early July, the La Famiglia Catering team created a series of refined conceptual evenings dedicated to the flavors of sunny Sicily. For 70 guests, we created not just dinners, but true journeys where each serving was part of one complete story.
Concept
The main accent of the evening was professional pairing. Each dish was served with a signature cocktail, allowing guests to rediscover familiar ingredients and experience a complex play of flavors and aromas.
Gastronomic pairings of the evening
Light start: asparagus carpaccio paired with sparkling Sbagliato Flower and delicate dorado rillette, complemented by the classic rigor of Dirty Martini.
Sea accents: shrimp with stracciatella accompanied by Blond Mary and bright tomatoes with anchovies, whose freshness was emphasized by Negroni Verde. A separate favorite was tuna tataki in a duet with the signature Cocktail 17.
Reset: refreshing lemon-basil sorbet as an ideal pause to prepare the receptors.
Rich base: parmesan doughnut with beef cheek and veal ravioli sounded in unison with the deep notes of Naked & Famous and Black Boulevardier.
Final chord: delicate vanilla mousse with tropical coulis paired with light Strega & Soda.
This case became an illustration of how catering can turn an event into high art.
